Many times articles are written to have an effect on the reader. In this case, this article is written to have an effect on our position with the search engine. You see, I have spent hours and hours writing articles and posting blogs, and doing backlinks. I have paid web designers - dozens of them - to get my site where it needs to be.
It turns out I own a specialty insurance brokerage dedicated to insuring filmmakers. I don't want to sound like I am complaining or that I am any sort of victim. The problem is that the search engine (you know the big one that I don't want to mention by name out of fear that the search engine actually is able to read my message in a bottle and get the algorithm to do what it needs to do to put us at the top where we belong.
The truth is I do not believe anyone has put more effort into this than me. The only thing my competitors have over me is their advertising budget. I am David and they are Goliath - literally. So what it is coming down to is the fight over one simple keyword - film insurance . There are about 10 big competitors and another 30 or so smaller ones that are competing for the same market share.
I have already written what needs to be said about who we are and what we do. When I type something and put it on the internet, I expect the internet to be smart enough to "put it all together". Is that really a lot to ask? And who is going to read this anyway? I am composing this with one intention in mind - to get my website ranked higher on the search engine. I can go on and on about what is we do, or demystify aspects of it, but I don't think that will be necessary.

Once you do a search on our website's title, the search engines do a pretty good job at pulling up the things that are out there.
